Please inform us of schedule changes ASAP! Last-minute disruptions affect our surgery services for other clients & patients. When a pet owner cancels a surgery with less than 36 hours notice; we cannot fill that appointment, which costs us an entire surgery slot & disrupts our workflow. This surgery slot could have been filled with a pet that might have needed timely surgery from our veterinary surgeon.
To avoid challenges in collecting from pet owners, we suggest requiring a $900 non-refundable deposit when scheduling a procedure.
This deposit covers the cancellation fee ($300) &/or
The emergency fee & same day cancellation fee ($600), ensuring they are committed to moving forward & can cover the cancellation fee if the procedure is canceled.
This also applies in cases where the patient is found to be unfit for surgery on the day of the procedure. It is imperative that we receive all requested patient information & diagnostics in advance to follow the proper referral protocol & ensure surgery is appropriate.
