Dr. Le-Nguyen graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. He completed an undergraduate degree in Medical MicroBiology, B.S. at UC Davis in 2010. Being a general practitioner at local veterinary hospitals, over the years, Dr. Le-Nguyen acquired a special interest in advance orthopedic, soft tissue & dentistry surgery. To date, we have performed >4k surgery on cats, dogs & the occasional exotic animals.
Upon seeing pets not being able to get the surgery they need due to pet owner financial constraints, Dr. Le-Nguyen sets out to receive post-graduate continued specialized education & advance surgery training. He participates & collaborates with other colleague surgeons to hone in on these surgical skills--using the most up to date techniques & highest standards available.
Today, Dr. Le-Nguyen is a veterinarian who is able to provide his surgery services not only in Sacramento, but in surrounding cities. He is able to offer these surgeries to pet owners & local shelters who would otherwise be unable to afford these surprise emergency & complex surgery costs. Pets are getting the treatments they need to live healthier lives & shelter pets are given a second chance to find a new home.
Dr. Le-Nguyen is a Sacramento native. Community based medicine & surgery is utmost importance. Closely working with local non-profit shelter ie Sacramento SPCA. Our philosophy practice is always treating client's pet like they are your own. Always gold standard without sacrifice quality medicine care & surgery.
Charlotte Tipton, BS (Zoology), RVT
Charlotte is a Registered Veterinary Technician with over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine, with a strong focus on surgery, anesthesia & patient nursing. Throughout her career, she has worked in general practice, emergency medicine, specialty surgery, high-volume spay/neuter, & veterinary hospital management - supervisor roles.
Charlotte was born & raised in South Bend, Indiana. She has a bachelors in science degree in zoology from Michigan State University. She received her veterinary technology degree from Brown Mackie College.
A lifelong advocate for animals, Charlotte has also volunteered extensively with Beagle rescue. Beagles are her special love. Her passion for animal welfare extends beyond the hospital & is an important part of who she is both professionally & personally.
You will find Charlotte keeping Dr. Le-Nguyen on track & ready to go, helping the clinic staff/nurse in prepping for surgery & monitor anesthesia, & always in purple color.
Outside of work, Charlotte lives with her husband, their son, 4 dogs (including 2 Beagles), 1 tortoise & several tropical fish. She enjoys, spending time with her family, reading, baking desserts, collecting succulents &, of course, anything involving dogs.
